Materia is the name chosen for the Food, Coffee and Design Store located in the San Giovanni district of Rome, a few steps from the Basilica. A multipurpose venue, café, bistro and interior decor shop, open from breakfast to aperitif with qua lity raw materials and a careful selection of ingredients. Simplicity and cleanliness the watchwords, which together with a careful choice of materials, make this large family and pleasant space at any time of the day. The wood covers all the horizontal surfaces, from the bar counter, consciously predisposed to a height of 80cm for greater conviviality, to the shelves present in all the spaces of the room which houses objects for sale of different Scandinavian and other brands. A large stone wall houses the relaxation area where you can browse interior magazines and listen to music from a turntable while the social table with a white iron frame and a top of palanche is the ideal corner to work in peace with your laptop. The arches that divide the three main rooms of the space are accentuated by a gray light changing shades with light. The large masonry counter at two different heights is covered with hexagonal cement by hand in Morocco.
